Make-up Product of the Week! Benetint

I’ve mulled over my make-up product of the week quite a bit this week, but have decided on Benefit’s Benetint! Benetint has been around for sometime and is one of Benefit’s most well known and most loved products, and for good reason.

When I wrote about my five make-up essentials a while ago quite a few of you came back with Benetint as one of their favourites. It’s a very versatile product and lasts ages too.

For those of you that don’t know anything about it, Benetint is a stain for the lips and cheeks.

For applying to the cheeks you can apply it either directly to the skin and smudge it with a finger or  with a sponge (however I’m not a big fan of sponges). Be careful to wash your fingers soon after using it though as it does what is says and stains!!!

Warning – If you’re one for heavy foundation Benetint can be hard to apply however as it doesn’t sit over foundation well and has a tendancy to take it off when you smudge it in.

Applying to your lips is really easy, apply straight on to dry lips (this is important), you can add more layers to make the colour stronger, then simply add lip balm gloss or even your fav lippy over the top. The beauty is when the gloss or lippy has gone the stain will still be there. Its a perfect tool for brides too!

Please don’t be put off by the price, it really is worth the money and other brands who have tried to do the same just haven’t quite matched it! They also do it in different shades called ‘Cha Cha Tint’ which is a mango colour and ‘Posie Tint’ which is a poppy pink colour. One of the 3 should suit any skin tone! Go on treat yourself!

What’s your make-up product of the week? I’d love to hear from you!

Disclaimer I cant guarantee that all of the beauty products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good after trying them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. If at all possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
